Mold and fungal decontamination
Mold is made up of microscopic organisms (spores) and has a high potential for damaging health. If you see traces of mold, contact Groupe A.D.N.'s fungal decontamination experts without delay.
To tackle fungal contamination or the appearance of fungus or traces of mold caused by water infiltration, Group A.D.N.'s experts begin by setting up a sealed containment zone. They then install HEPA filters to capture all contaminants and particles suspended in the air. Once this is completed, work that generates dust can begin. The next steps involve removing any contaminated materials, doing mechanical brushing and disinfecting affected and adjacent surfaces, always in accordance with procedural standard S520 established by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
Contrary to popular belief, it is impossible to get rid of mold simply by washing the affected surfaces with bleach or applying a coat of paint. You would only be masking the problem by removing surface traces of mold and would be accelerating the spores' release into the air. This type of work must be entrusted to professionals like Group A.D.N.'s mold experts.
We only use eco-friendly biocides, as required by the industry's highest standards. The mold decontamination protocols we stringently follow comply with the IICRC/MR210's S520 standard. Also, all of our work is guaranteed. If necessary, we can issue a certificate of compliance for the decontaminated air and surfaces. This certificate is produced by an independent external firm recognized by financial institutions, when such a document is required to purchase a property that had been used to grow cannabis or was in extremely unsanitary condition.
